LED Screen Health Audit

The best time to fix a faulty LED module is before it causes downtime. A screen health audit is a systematic inspection of your LED installation that identifies latent faults, ageing components and environmental damage, giving you a clear picture of what needs attention and when. TDX Technologies offers comprehensive health audits for fixed installations, rental fleets and digital signage across Cape Town and the Western Cape.

What we inspect

Our health audit covers four key areas to give you a complete picture of your screen condition.

Visual inspection

Full walk-through of every tile, cabinet and section. We document dead pixels, colour mismatch, brightness variation and physical damage.

Component-level diagnostics

Power supply voltage testing, hub card signal integrity checks, receiver card diagnostics and controller output verification.

Thermal imaging

Hot spots on power supplies, connectors and PCBs indicate failing components that will cause future failures. We identify them before they fail.

Environmental assessment

We check seals, drainage, ventilation and corrosion, especially for outdoor screens exposed to salt air, rain or dust.

Audit pricing

Pricing depends on screen size, complexity and location. These are starting figures for typical projects.

Basic audit

From R1,950

Single screen up to 10m². Visual inspection + basic component testing. Written report with fault list and repair recommendations.

Standard audit

From R3,500

Screens up to 50m² or multiple smaller screens. Full component testing including thermal imaging. Detailed report with prioritised repair plan and cost estimates.

Comprehensive audit

Custom quote

Large installations, rental fleets or multi-site operations. Includes all standard audit items plus firmware review, control system analysis and SLA readiness assessment.

If an audit reveals repair work is needed, we provide a separate repair quote. Audits are non-binding. You are never obliged to proceed with repairs.
